Rules of Noir

Draven wrote:God-Modding is forbidden. Anyone who created a character that "can not be killed" will be immediately banned. Every creature is designed with a weakness, a specific flaw. If you know it, use it. Please do not make us shut down this forum for such petty things. Discuss with the person behind the character of an impending "death" will be occuring in the Roleplay you are both involved with. You must have permission to kill off a character that is not yours. NPC's; Non-playable characters may be controled by any member of the forum and can be killed by the user who is currently using the NPC. If ANYONE and I mean ANYONE God-Modds, I will send out a "Soul Eater". No one will know who it is and this Assassin will kill off your character and you will be banned from the forum or in other words, K-Lined.

Do not be judgemental of someone's Roleplaying ability and skills. There are some that may have joined that do not know much of Roleplaying and may need help. If asked, please be polite and curteous enough to lend a helping hand. You don't have to if you don't wish to, that is after all, why Dak and I here. However, I strongly suggest that you at least know your sentence structure, spelling and grammar. Spell Check is a useful tool if you have it. I know that not everyone can spell, and that we all make typos; myself more frequently than others, mostly because my fingers move too fast for my brain to keep up, but before you post your material, please proofread and fix any mistakes you find. Posting is not a contest on who is faster. It is about quality not quanity. I would rather have a three sentence post that has near perfect sentence structure and spelling rather than a twenty paragraph post of nothing but jibberish. We do have Tutors here on Noir and they have their own designated forum to answer any questions that you may have. Or you may contact any of them directly via PM.

There is no such things as a "better forum". I am only creating this to the best of my ability. If you have any tips, questions, or comments, you may be able to reach me at Blood-Noir@hotmail.com. Please do not post any negative or slanderous comments about the way BC is run, or looks. Immediate ban.

Since this is an Adult forum, Rules for any erotic Roleplaying or storytelling are listed below. You must be 18 or older in order to join this site. If you are under 18 you must have parental permission before joining.

  • You are not to invite yourself into an Erotic Roleplay without being asked to join. Some people do not wish to have this specific aspect of their Roleplaying to be interrupted. Some do this to develop their characters more deeply. Pay careful attention to tags attached to the titles of Roleplaying threads. {Open} indicates that the thread is open to anyone. {Private: Username} indicates that the thread is open only for that specific member. {R.S.V.P, or Invite} indicate that the thread involves only users that have been invited to join the thread. Usually contacted by e-mail, IM, or PM.
  • You are not allowed to slander any of the posts, in any way. Comments, just like on any other post, are more than welcome, but do not slander the posts of the two or perhaps more people that were involved in the Roleplay. If there is something about it that you find offensive, address the issue in a private message to the parties involved in the thread.
  • Do not come to the administrators and tell us that we have to remove this rating. It is a form of roleplay, and regardless of a single person's view upon it, it is something that many people take very seriously. Your request for us to get rid of this section, at least if you ask me, will be immediately disregarded.
  • Don't make a disgusting display out of Erotic roleplay or stories. Sexual activities are a beautiful thing, please don't make them seem otherwise.

Guidelines. Roleplaying on Forums is a turn-based design. It is imperitave that you read through each post that is made in the thread you are involved in, in order to keep up with the plot. It is a pet peeve of mine when someone skims through the thread and posts without reading all of the material. I understand that sometimes you won't want to read through a ten page RP. Contact someone involved in the thread and ask if they will give you a summary of what is going on. Discuss with them your characters intentions and then make your post.

Have fun!!
